You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner which does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of this site by any third party, such restriction or inhibition includes, without limitation, conduct which is unlawful, or which may harass or cause distress or inconvenience to any person and the transmission of obscene or offensive content or disruption of normal flow of dialogue within this site.

6. Law and Jurisdiction

If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these Terms and Conditions are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that Term or Condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from this clause and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland. Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.

7. Rules and Regulations

Occasionally within the site you may find other rules or terms relating to specific material which may conflict with or contradict these terms and conditions. These could be rules for competitions, specific download requirements, or prize draws, for example. If there is any conflict then the rules or terms relating to specific material will win out over the more general terms and conditions. 8. Booking Terms & Conditions

The management reserves the right to refuse admission
Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded except at the absolute discretion of TBL
If any customer wishes to amend the date or time of any booking on the Titanic Belfast Visitors Experience following the purchase of ticket(s) the customer should immediately notify TBL who shall use its reasonable endeavours to accommodate the alternative date and time requested by the customer. An administration fee of £5 per booking will be charged by TBL to that customer. For the avoidance of doubt, the administration fee will apply to all bookings made on-line on TBL’s website, through the call centre operated by TBL and through the kiosks situated at the Titanic Belfast Visitors Experience.
Ticket holders for Titanic Belfast Visitor Experience tickets (including disabled guests and groups and schools) must arrive at the “meeting point” no less than 15 minutes prior to their experience time.
Latecomers will not be admitted to the Titanic Belfast Visitor Experience except at the absolute discretion of TBL.
TBL will use its reasonable endeavours to be open and operational during published opening hours but reserves the right to close the Experience on any given day or part thereof, whether for security or any other reason, without notice. In the event of such closure, any Tickets issued for use only on the day of closure will be exchanged or refunded by TBL at the price paid for them but no further compensation will be paid.
Visitors are reminded that from time to time parts of the Experience may be closed for maintenance or for technical reasons. Tickets will not be refunded and no compensation will be paid in the event of such closures.
Proof of entitlement for certain Ticket types may be required for entry (for example, to qualify for the Student Concession Ticket a valid NUS card or valid Internationally Recognised Student ID should be produced).
Visitors should be aware that there may be school groups in the attraction during a visit.
Titanic Belfast reserves the right to alter any offers and promotions without notice.
No promotions and special offers are valid on Bank Holidays.
The management reserves the right to remove a customer from the building if their behaviour is considered likely to either cause offence or create a nuisance to other visitors or staff.
Titanic Belfast reserves the right to alter admission prices and opening times without notice. Visitors are reminded that from time to time parts of the Experience may be closed for maintenance or for technical reasons. Tickets will not be refunded and no compensation will be paid in the event of such closures.


  • The Titanic Belfast exhibition is suitable for children.
  • All children under the age of 5 are admitted free to the exhibition.
  • Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied at all times by an adult over the age of 18.
  • Parents with young children are welcome in Titanic Belfast.
  • Buggies may be taken anywhere in the exhibition except the Shipyard Ride. Unfortunately it is not possible to take buggies or babes in arms onto the Shipyard Ride.
  • Some visiting exhibitions within our temporary gallery may not be suitable for children and may be excluded from the entry price.

Visitor Health and Safety

Titanic Belfast staff may draw visitor’s attention to certain Health & Safety procedures to which Visitors must adhere to.

Visitor Conduct

TBL reserves the right to prosecute any persons found damaging or defacing any part of the Experience.
Visitors are required to observe the following prohibitions while at the Experience:
  • No smoking
  • No pets or animals except for guide dogs and hearing dogs
  • No consumption of food or drink inside the exhibition (except bottled water) without the express permission of TBL
  • No access to any area of the Attraction other than areas designated for access by Visitors
  • No use of illegal drugs or consumption of alcohol except in authorised places and in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003


In the interests of safety, Visitors may be asked to submit to a search of their person or belongings and anyone refusing to submit or found to be in possession of materials believed by TBL to be dangerous or unsuitable will be denied entry or removed from the Experience.
Visitors must keep their personal belongings with them at all times and TBL accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any personal belongings brought into the Experience


Flash photography and video recording is strictly prohibited within the galleries. Amateur photography without flash is allowed.
From time to time staff may request visitors that refrain from the use of cameras and recording devices in respect of TBL’s child protection policy.
From time to time TBL or other authorised third parties may carry out photography or other recording at the Attraction and any images or recordings may feature Visitors. Visitors consent to the use of such images by TBL in connection with advertising, promotions or monitoring and acknowledge that the copyright in such images rests with TBL and/or any authorised third party.

9. Accessibility

All circulation spaces and Galleries at Titanic Belfast are fully accessible. There are some dimensional and weight restrictions on the Ship Yard Ride which may mean that some wheelchairs, and all mobility scooters, will be unable to be accommodated within the accessible car, these restrictions are detailed within the Ship Yard Section below.
Titanic Belfast is surrounded by a flagged Plaza which is fully accessible.
Titanic Belfast has four entrances, all have level access.
The main door is the South entrance and this is revolving, the 3 other entrances are automatic bi-parting.
The main access doors take you in to the Atrium which has a granite floored surface.
Off the Atrium there is level access to the Titanic Store, The Galley Café and Bistro 401.
The ticket desks are within the Atrium and all have lowered counters.
There are 2 scenic lifts within the Atrium which take visitors to all levels of the experience.
There is one passenger lift that takes visitors to the car park -1 & -2
The Titanic Belfast Experience entrance is on Level One.
All areas of the exhibition which have audio have integrated loop systems, visitors who wear hearing aids should switch them to the T setting.
There is seating for rest points in Gallery 1 / Gallery 3 / Gallery 4 / Gallery 5 / Gallery 6/ Gallery 7 and Gallery 8.


There are 2 levels of underground car park.
Level -2 has 6 accessible spaces
Level -1 has 4 accessible spaces

The circulation space within the building is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

A limited number of Mobility Scooters are available for use within Titanic Belfast (subject to availability).

PLEASE NOTE, for those people who are not members of Shop Mobility, Titanic Belfast will need to assess the person's ability to control a scooter for safety and insurance purposes. This assessment can be conducted on arrival at Visitor Services.
Due to essential maintenance and repair, scooters may not always be available.

The Ship Yard Ride

Due to weight restrictions on the Ship Yard Dark Ride, mobility scooters unfortunately cannot be accommodated.
There is a wheelchair accessible car which can accommodate one standard wheelchair at a time, wheelchairs cannot be larger than 1.0m in length. 
The safety bar in each car must close to 320mm.
Please advise crew if you are pregnant.
Children under 7 years or 1.3m must be supervised.  
We recommend 1:2 ratio of Adults to Children.
As safety bars must close to 320mm, children cannot sit on parent's or guardian's knees and must be able to sit up unaided.
Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs are welcome on the ship yard ride but at the discretion of the owners.

All accessible toilets have emergency alarms and communication points which go back to a 24hr manned security room.

Facilities for those with hearing loss

Titanic Belfast is designed to be a multi -sensory exhibition.
Titanic Belfast is a self -guided experience however audio guides are available, printed versions of our audio guide are available on request and will be sent out via email or by post.
There are three video presentations within Gallery Nine, transcripts of the audio of these videos are available on request.
Hearing Dogs are welcome.

Facilities for those who are blind or partially sighted

We are currently developing an audio described audio guide, we hope that this will be available August 2012, this will be provided free of charge to our visitors who are blind or partially sighted.
In the interim standard audio guides will be provided free of charge to our visitors who are blind or partially sighted.
Guide Dogs are welcome
There is voice indication in all front-of-house lifts, hand rail extensions and contrasting floor textures
Please note that the lighting levels within some of the galleries are low and in others which have windows can be extremely bright.


Titanic Belfast operates a Free Carers Policy, whereby it offers a free carer ticket to any customer who requires essential assistance to visit our building.
