Join us for a maritime celebration as the Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival returns to Titanic Quarter from Saturday 25th to Monday 27th May!
This year’s festival programme will have everything from Tall Ships to naval vessels, fun activities for families, along with an array of performers, musicians, and street food traders, offering something for everyone along the Maritime Mile and throughout Titanic Quarter so come on down and join the fun!
Here is a quick run down of what's on to help plan your day...
Donegal Quays / Queens Quay (10am-4pm)
Donegall Quay, gateway to the Maritime Mile at the Big Fish will feature Wee Critters, Mini Explorers and more family fun, the perfect place for little ones to begin their maritime voyage.
Queens Quay will have fun for all ages as the Maritime Market returns with something to tempt your tastebuds. Try your hand at building a land yacht, learn how to create crazy bubbles with Scientific Sue and have fun at the beach!
Titanic Quarter (10am-6pm)
The 'Pop-Up Titanic Street Food Market' is retuning to Hamilton Dock, from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 10am-4pm Mon, with 15 quirky food vans and vintage trucks showcasing the very best of our world class food culture.
Watch live cookery demonstrations in action at Hamilton Dock with some of Belfast's most talented chefs; Stephen Ferris, Tony O'Neil, Damien Schulz, Dan Harvey, Jonny Elliot and our very own Executive Head Chef Alastair Fullerton (11am and 12:30pm daily)
There will be a host of local musicians, dancers and theatrical performers to keep everyone entertained on the Titanic Maritime Music Stage, including Ajendance Belfast, Over The Hill Music Collective and Belfast Youth Music School.
Bring the kids along to decorate their own kite at the Arc and watch the kite club put on magical displays opposite the Titanic Picnic zone.
Out on the Titanic Slipways the traditional maritime village will have demos from rope makers, linen weavers, boat building and riveters - plus watch out for the ladies in Titanic era costumes on board SS Nomadic!

Alternatively, hear tails of mermaids, pirates and fish at the storytelling sessions down at the Great Light, the largest lighthouse optic of its kind in the world (1.30pm and 2.30pm).
HMS Caroline (10am-4pm)
Discover the Captains Cabins and get hands on with interactive exhibits or walk along the ship's historic decks before visiting the maritime-themed playpark, or check out the Bonkers Betty Bazaar food and craft village and live theatre performances from Dockside Alive.
Sailortown Maritime Festival (10am-4pm)
Enjoy the Maritime exhibition in St Joseph's Church, telling the stories of Sailortown's Seamen in WW1. While Barrow Square will host an afternoon of Belfast based rock, rhythm and blues in memory of the iconic Rotterdam Bar on Saturday.
There will also be walking tours, workshops, a traditional May procession and a 'Sea Songs and Shanties' music session in St Joseph's Church on Sunday.
Evening Entertainment (7pm-10pm)
One of the highlights of the Maritime Festival will be the evening performances of Jimmy Ellis: Home Again, featuring local actors and performers bringing to life the late actor's memories of growing up in East Belfast (7pm, Sat/Sun) - book your tickets now as spaces are limited!
Finally, each evening will conclude with a lighting show at the Great Light from 9.30-10pm.
