We're delighted to announce we have won the second place runner up award at the recent Blooloop Innovation Awards!
These awards are designed to celebrate the most innovative projects, designs, products and campaigns within the attractions industry and recognise the incredible dynamism, imagination and creativity within the industry worldwide.
Our recent £4.7m project to reimgaine the Titanic Experience was named runner up in the Exhibit category by a judging panel of well-known thought leaders and industry experts, looking for the most innovative exhibitions designed to engage and immerse visitors in new ways.
Beating off stiff competition from ten other global experiences, first place went to Planet Word in Washington DC, with Titanic Belfast coming in a close second and third place being awarded to the The Dalí Museum.
This latest recognition is a testament to the success of the collaborative nature of the project, which brought together partners including Opera Amsterdam, Studio Louter and ShoSho to work with our skilled in-house team.
Drawing on the dreams, personal stories and human connections to Titanic, the team were able to connect with visitors in a way the experience never did before. Telling untold stories, bringing emotion to the fore and making it truly immersive through a combination of technologies – putting a beating heart into the visitor journey and delivering an authentic, world class experience that Belfast can be proud of.
The Titanic Experience is the world’s most authentic retelling of the iconic story.
The self-guided tour extends over nine interactive galleries where you discover the sights, sounds, smells and stories of the ship, as well as the people and city that made her.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Titanic Belfast soon! Here's how your itinerary currently looks.
