These pages together with our Privacy Policy set out all the terms and conditions upon which Titanic Belfast Limited (NI604430), Titanic Belfast Nomadic Limited (NI629209), Titanic Exhibition Centre Limited (NI630145), TSP Car Parks Limited (NI071530) and TBL International Limited (NI638588) (together the “TBL International Group”) (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides access to TBL International Group’s associated products and services to you and your guests (“you” or “your”) (the “Terms”).
These Terms cover:
- Entry to the Titanic Belfast Visitor Attraction and its products and services
- Entry to Nomadic Belfast Visitor Attraction and its products and services
- Access to private event spaces at Titanic Belfast, Nomadic Belfast or the Titanic Exhibition Centre (TEC Belfast)
- Access to retail and hospitality facilities within Titanic Belfast
- Access to public spaces including the underground car park, Titanic Slipways and Plaza
Please read these Terms carefully, by taking the below actions you agree to be bound by these Terms:
- Entering the Titanic Belfast building, car park or surrounding public spaces for the purposes outlined above
- Buying a ticket, either online or via self-service-kiosks, telephone or at the ticketing desks within the building
- Buying a gift voucher, either online or within the Titanic Belfast building
COVID-19
The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff are of the utmost importance and following the global outbreak of COVID-19 we wish to reassure all guests that we are taking great care to ensure that the risk of contagion is minimised and have strict processes in place regard to cleanliness and hygiene. Guests should help to prevent the spread of the virus by observing high standards of personal hygiene whilst visiting and must adhere to all social distancing and safety procedures provided.
By agreeing to these terms, you declare that You, or anyone in your household, have not experienced any of the following symptoms within the past 14 days:
- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- A loss of or change in sense of smell or taste
Or that You have not come into contact with anyone outside of your house in the past 14 days that displayed these symptoms or has since been confirmed as having COVID-19.
You agree that should this change ahead of your visit to Titanic Belfast, You and your guests will not visit and will get in touch to re-arrange your tickets.
Visitors who have recently travelled to Northern Ireland also agree that they have adhered to all appropriate travel restrictions and quarantine periods before visiting or are travelling from one of the exempt countries listed here.
By agreeing to these Terms, it is understood that You are visiting at your own risk and agree to waive Titanic Belfast of any liability.
Purchasing Tickets
Tickets can be purchased via our website www.titanicbelfast.com, by telephone on +44 (0)28 9076 6386, via self-service-kiosks or at ticketing desks within the attraction. All telephone calls made from a BT landline will be charged at local rates. Calls from mobile operators and other networks may vary.
Payment must be made in full at the time of buying a Ticket.
Tickets purchased via self-service-kiosks or at ticketing desks upon arrival shall be provided directly and guests can make their way to Gallery Entrance at their Allocated Entry Time.
Upon purchase of a Ticket from our website, you will receive an email with a Collection Reference and on occasion a QR code.
This email constitutes your proof of purchase. Please check that you have received this email following purchase. We take no responsibility should you not receive this email due to reasons outside of our control e.g. junk or spam filtering.
The Collection Reference must be presented at the ticketing desks or self-service-kiosks where it will be exchanged for entrance tickets, or the QR code can be presented at Gallery Entrance to admit entry.
It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of the details on your email confirmation or Tickets (as appropriate) as mistakes cannot always be rectified. When you receive your email confirmation or Tickets, please keep them in a safe place as we cannot be held responsible for any Tickets that are lost or stolen.
Only Tickets purchased directly from us or one of our authorised distributors are valid for admission. Tickets purchased from unauthorised third parties, including online auction sites, are not valid for entry.
Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded except at the absolute discretion of TBL International Group.
If any customer wishes to amend the date or time of any booking for their visit following the purchase of ticket(s) the customer should immediately notify TBL International Group which shall use its reasonable endeavours to accommodate the alternative date and time requested by the customer.
Ticket Price
Where Ticket prices vary according to age, the following provisions apply:
A person of 16 years or older is classed as an Adult; A person aged between 5 and 15 years (inclusive) is classed as a Child; and for children aged under 5 no admission fee will be charged, however each child aged under 5 must present a valid Ticket at the specified Allocated Entry Time in order to enter.

The price of Tickets may vary from time to time. Our prices are as stated on our website but are liable to change at any time. When buying a Ticket either via the website, by telephone, self-service kiosk or at ticketing desks, the total price will be confirmed. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors even after we have sent you the email confirmation or Tickets (as appropriate) although we will endeavour to do so as soon as we become aware of the error.
Proof of entitlement for certain Ticket types may be required for entry (for example, to qualify for the Student Concession Ticket a valid NUS card or valid internationally recognised Student ID should be produced).
Ticket prices are in UK Sterling and include VAT.
Tickets - General Terms
One Ticket purchased entitles one person entry on a single occasion. Once you have exited the experience, you will need to purchase a new Ticket to re-enter.
All persons entering the experience or event must hold a valid Ticket that must be retained at all times and must be available for inspection if required by any member of staff. Failure to produce a valid Ticket on request may result in your removal.
Tickets remain our property at all times. We reserve the right to require the immediate return of the Tickets at any time and to refuse entry to, or eject, any person who fails to comply with these Terms.
Once acquired, whether by purchase or on a complimentary basis, Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and void if altered. Tickets that we reasonably suspect have been transferred or altered will not be honoured. Tickets are not for resale. Any such resale shall have the effect of rendering that Ticket void.
From time to time, we may decide at our absolute discretion to issue tickets under special promotions (“Promotional Tickets”) but Promotional Tickets will be available subject to availability and subject to any terms and conditions affecting the particular promotion.
Ticket Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel a Ticket, you must notify us immediately by telephone on +44 (0)28 9076 6386 or welcome@titanicbelfast.com upon which the email confirmation or Tickets shall become void. We are under no obligation to issue refunds where a Ticket has been cancelled by you but, notwithstanding this, any such refund shall be entirely at our discretion.
In rare circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel a Ticket but we will endeavour to notify you as soon as we become aware that this is necessary. Should we have to cancel your Ticket we will refund you all the monies you have paid to us.
Customers who have purchased a gift voucher from our website and are resident in the European Union are entitled to cancel their purchase within seven (7) business days from the date of purchase and receive a refund. This right to cancel does not apply to pre-booked Tickets. Should you wish to cancel your purchase please contact us by telephone on +44 (0)28 9076 6386 or welcome@titanicbelfast.com.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Cards are available for purchase via our website, by telephone, in our retail outlet and at our ticketing desks.
A gift voucher can be pre-loaded with any amount and can be used for 12 months from the date of purchase. These can be used for purchasing tickets or in our retail and hospitality outlets.
Cards booked online or via telephone can be posted out to an address of your choosing for a small additional fee. Please be aware that only one gift voucher recipient can be entered per transaction online. If you are intending to send gift cards to different addresses please book each one as a separate transaction.
Please protect the gift voucher and treat it as cash. We cannot be held liable for gift vouchers which, are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged.
Tour Groups and Third Party Sellers
Please note that, in some cases, we accept orders on behalf of third party sellers. The resulting legal contract is between you and that third party seller, and is subject to the terms and conditions of that third party seller, which they will advise you of themselves. You should carefully review their terms and conditions applying to the transaction.
We may also provide links on our site to the websites of other companies, whether affiliated with us or not. We cannot give any undertaking that products you purchase from third party sellers through our site, or from companies to whose website we have provided a link on our site, will be of satisfactory quality, and any such warranties are disclaimed by us absolutely. This disclaimer does not affect our statutory rights against the third party seller.
Allocated Entry Time
You will be given the opportunity to select a date and time for the experience or event (an “Allocated Entry Time”) (subject to availability) during the booking procedure and this will be shown on your confirmation email or Ticket (as appropriate). For those wishing to redeem a valid gift card, please call our Welcome Team on +44 (0)28 9076 6386 to arrange your Allocated Entry Time.
It is your responsibility to arrive in time for your Allocated Entry Time.
You must arrive no less than 15 minutes before your Allocated Entry Time although you may not be allowed access before your Allocated Entry Time. This applies to all Ticket holders including guests with accessibility needs, groups and schools.
Visitors who miss their Allocated Entry Time are not guaranteed entry, except at the absolute discretion of TBL International Group.
Staff will advise visitors who have missed their Allocated Entry Time of the next available time slot but at busy times it may not be possible to find a time on the same day in which case it will be necessary to re-book an Allocated Entry Time.
If any customer wishes to amend the date or time of any booking ahead of their visit following the purchase of Ticket(s) the customer should immediately notify TBL International Group who shall use its reasonable endeavours to accommodate the alternative date and time requested by the customer.
We reserve the right to amend an Allocated Entry Time once it has been issued to you but we will endeavour to notify you as soon as we become aware that this is necessary. Should we have to significantly amend your Allocated Entry Time (i.e. by four (4) hours or more), you may choose to accept the new Allocated Entry Time, arrange another mutually agreeable Allocated Entry Time with us or cancel the Ticket whereupon we will refund you all the monies you have paid to us for the Ticket(s) but no further compensation will be paid.
Our Status
TBL International Group will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure advertised facilities will be open and operational during published opening hours but reserves the right to close the experience on any given day or part thereof, whether for security, health and safety, where required by law or any other reason, without notice. In the event of such closure, any Tickets issued for use only on the day of closure will be exchanged or refunded by TBL International Group at the price paid for them but no further compensation will be paid.
Visitors are reminded that from time to time parts of the building or experience may be closed for maintenance, for technical reasons or for private functions. Tickets will not be refunded and no compensation will be paid in the event of such closures.
The Grand Staircase at Titanic Belfast is located in a private event space which is not available to the public as part of the Titanic Experience Ticket.
Visitors should be aware that there may be school groups in the attraction during a visit.
Promotions and special offers may be available at certain times throughout the year. We reserve the right to alter any offers and promotions without notice and each promotion or offer has its own Specific Terms and Conditions associated which will be in addition the these Terms and Conditions. All additional Specific Terms and Conditions will be stated at the time of promotion on the website or on request to marketing@titanicbelfast.com.
TBL International Group reserves the right to alter admission prices and opening times without notice.
Your Conduct
Whilst You and other Ticket holders are on our premises, You and your guests must comply with all directions of our staff, relevant health and safety notices, policies and announcements made available to You.
Any breach of any of these Terms or any unacceptable behaviour by You or your guests that is likely to cause damage, nuisance, injury to any other visitor or member of our staff or to the attraction or building itself shall give rise to the right of staff to eject you immediately.
We shall have the right to refuse admission across all areas of the business or to eject you and any other Ticket holder or guests if in our reasonable opinion, granting your admission might be a risk to our property, the safety of others and/or affect the enjoyment of the experience or event by others and in particular (but without limitation) where there is a breach of the following rules:
- No smoking
- No pets or animals except for assistance dogs
- No consumption of food or drink (except bottled water) outside the designated areas without our express permission
- No offensive weapons
- No access to any areas other than areas designated for access by Visitors
- No unnecessary noise (whether from mobile phones or personal stereos or otherwise) or behaviour likely to annoy or offend other visitors or intimidate staff
- No use of illegal drugs or consumption of alcohol except in authorised places and in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003.
- No use of roller skates, skate boards, bicycles, children’s’ sitting toys, balls and frisbees.
You are expressly prohibited from copying, reproducing or republishing any part of the content of the experience. It is a criminal offence to copy or attempt to copy the copyright protected materials on show within the experience.
TBL International Group reserves the right to prosecute any persons found damaging or defacing any part of the experience or building.
Clothing Policy
You are required to remain fully clothed while on TBL International Group premises and this is to include the wearing of shirts and shoes at all times. This is both for your own comfort and for the benefit of other visitors. We reserve the right to ask you to remove items of clothing that we deem to display inappropriate messages or images.
Children
Children (those aged 15 years and under) must be accompanied by a person aged 18 years or over. Such children shall remain under the control and supervision of a person aged 18 or over at all times. For the purposes of supervision, an adult supervisory ratio of 1 adult to 5 children is required.
Parents with young children are welcome and all children under the age of 5 are admitted free.
Buggies may be taken anywhere in the experience except The Shipyard Ride. Unfortunately it is not possible to take buggies or babes in arms onto The Shipyard Ride.
Some visiting exhibitions within our building may not be suitable for children and may be excluded from the entry price.
Health and Safety
A variety of special effects may be used in certain areas within the building, experience or events. It is recommended that visitors with high blood pressure, heart conditions or other pre-existing medical conditions ask the Staff for further details and avoid areas in which such special effects are located.
We have stringent policies and procedures in place to keep our guests safe. From time to time staff may draw visitors’ attention to certain health and safety requirements to which visitors must adhere.
In the event of being notified of a Health and Safety procedure (for example, an emergency evacuation) it is essential that visitors follow staff direction.
Security
In the interests of safety, you may be asked to submit to a search of your person or belongings and anyone refusing to submit or found to be in possession of materials which we believe to be dangerous or unsuitable will be denied entry or removed from the building.
You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times. We accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any personal belongings brought into the building. Any items left in locker facilities, with staff at ticketing desks or other areas, in cloakroom facilities or on coat rails at events are left at visitors’ own risk and we accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage of these personal belongings.
Underground car parking is available at the building. Use of this facility is at Your own risk. TBL International Group accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage to any vehicle (or its contents) while parked within this car park or any other car park in the vicinity.
For Security and Health and Safety purposes the Titanic Belfast, Nomadic Belfast and the Titanic Exhibition Centre and surrounding areas are monitored by CCTV. This is monitored only by authorised personnel and is stored in line with the relevant Code of Practice and data protection regulations.
Photography
The taking of photographs with handheld cameras is allowed in all areas of the experience. Video recording as well as the use of flashes, tripods and other specialist photographic equipment is not permitted unless permission is granted in advance by contacting media@titanicbelfast.com.
Photographs are for you to enjoy for your own personal, private, non-commercial purposes only. Unless permission has been granted by us, picture and images cannot be reproduced in any format or media other than for private viewing.
From time to time staff may request that visitors refrain from the use of cameras and recording devices in respect of our Child Protection Policy.
From time to time we or other authorised third parties may carry out photography and/or other recording at the attraction and any images and/or recordings may feature visitors. You consent to the use of such images and/or recordings by us in connection with advertising, promoting the attractions, experiences and events (such as on our websites, social media sites and pages, partner sites, outdoor advertising and brochures), and for our internal purposes, and in doing so, you allow us to edit, modify, publish and make available such images and/or recordings. You acknowledge and agree that you will not receive compensation if we use such images and/or recordings for the purposes set out above. If any visitors to the building are under 18, you, being the parent or legal guardian of such persons, also consent to the use of their image and/or recordings for the purposes set out above. You acknowledge that the copyright in such images and/or recordings rests with us and/or any authorised third party and accordingly you grant us and/or any authorised third party all rights in any images and/or recordings of you and/or your children. You shall promptly execute such documents and perform such acts as may be required for the purposes of giving full effect to the foregoing.
On entry to the experience guests will enter through a photographic concession where images are captured to be later available to purchase as souvenirs. Guests are under no obligation to purchase the photograph, and have the right to refuse having their photograph taken by advising staff. All images captured will be printed and publicly displayed on the day of capture only. All printed copies and digital copies not purchased are permanently destroyed within 24 hours of date of capture.

Our Liabilities
Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaching a contract between us is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Tickets you booked and any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaching the contract at the date the Tickets were bought. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time of purchasing your Ticket having regard to the information which was available at that time. This does not exclude or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that or our employees (if acting within the course of their employment), agents or suppliers (if carrying out the work which they were contracted to do); or any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.
We are not responsible for indirect losses which occur as a side effect of the main loss or damage, or for any losses that fall into the following categories: loss of income or revenue, loss of business loss of profits or contracts, loss of data or waste of management or office time, loss of goodwill, disappointments or emotional distress and/or any other loss or damage which was not reasonably foreseeable by us at the date the Ticket was bought, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract otherwise, even if foreseeable.
Where part of the services you have paid for in connection with experience are provided by a third party supplier, that supplier’s individual liability will be set out in their own terms and conditions. You may request from the supplier directly copies of any relevant terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not accept liability for acts or omissions by you or any person(s) on behalf of whom you have placed a booking or unconnected third parties or suppliers of services which do not form part of the contract between you and us.
Events Outside Our Control
Subject to applicable law, we shall have no liability to You if we are prevented from, or are delayed in performing our obligations under any contract or from carrying on our business by acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving our employees or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, pandemic, malicious damage, compliance with any law or government order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.

We only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, for details please see here. Please take the time to read these, as they include important terms which apply to you.
Variation
We have the right to revise and amend these Terms from time to time by notifying you or placing updated Terms on the website. You may not vary these Terms unless agreed in writing with us. You will be subject to the Terms in force at the time that you entered the conditions outlined at the start of these Terms. You may wish to print a copy of these Terms with a date-stamp for future reference.
Waiver
If we fail, at any time, to insist upon the strict performance of any of your obligations under any of these Terms, or if we fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you from compliance with such obligations.
Severability
If any of these Terms is determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Third Party Rights
A person who is not a party to the Terms shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and any document referred to in them constitutes the whole agreement between us and supersedes all previous discussions, correspondence, negotiations, previous arrangement, understanding or agreement between us relating to the subject matter of these Terms.
You acknowledge that, in agreeing to these Terms, you do not rely on any representation or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Terms. Nothing in this clause excludes liability for fraud.
Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland. Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
