Starting Monday 27th January 2025, Titanic Belfast is excited to invite you to an extraordinary celebration of Chinese culture and heritage! As part of this special event it pays tribute to the eight Chinese passengers who travelled aboard the RMS Titanic, revealing their incredible stories through our captivating new pop-up exhibition on Level One Apex which is free to see.
It’s a poignant reminder of an important yet often overlooked piece of Titanic’s history, making this an experience you absolutely won’t want to miss.
Join us for the vibrant energy of a traditional Chinese Lion Dance performance, followed by the mesmerising art of Chinese face-changing opera in the Grand Atrium from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Monday 27th January.
As you explore, don’t miss the stunning red lanterns that brighten the Grand Atrium. Indulge in delicious, Chinese-inspired specials at The Pantry and enjoy complimentary fortune cookies at The Galley Café with any purchase. You’ll find traditional boiled sweets that will transport you back in time at our ticket kiosks and store.
To commemorate the occasion, the iconic Titanic Belfast building and SS Nomadic will be illuminated in vibrant red lights until Wednesday 12th February. Don’t miss this unique celebration of history and culture, it's perfect for the whole family!
